I haven't followed all of this discussion, but we were just at Target
and they have huge erasers in their Dollar spot section. They look to
measure about 2.5 x 5 inches and about a half inch thick. They are neon
colors, but someone on a budget might appreciate giving them a try. We
didn't need any carving medium right now, so I didn't pick any up. If
they are still around when they start clearancing that area out, I will
likely grab several even if it just gives the kids something to practice
carving on.
